The goal of this club is to bring awareness and appreciation to workers on college campuses who work hard and keep the university running behind-the-scenes but often go unrecognized and unappreciated. These unsung heroes include Janitors, Food and Service Workers, Construction Workers, Security Guards, etc. We plan on interviewing these workers and sharing their personal stories in hopes of highlighting their portraits of humanity through photography and dialogue. We highlight the workers on social media – Humans of New York style.

Our goal is to inspire institutions to give back and show appreciation for the workers who are often overlooked. We want to be able to “make visible the Invisibles” – every institution has them, whether it’s a university or even the workplace.
